MOTOR TIPS
If you are not using your car and van 100%, then you can SUSPEND the majority of cover under your motor policy. Just ring us or email us and we will do the rest. You will need to post in the cert and disc to our office also. There are three parts to a motor policy: Compulsory Third Party / Fire & Theft and Accidental Damage. You can suspend the Third Party and leave the Third Party / Fire & Theft and Accidental Damage in places, provided the vehicle is in a secure place.
A credit will be returned to you, when you put the vehicle back on the road or at renewal, whichever comes first. The benefits of this is that your No Claims Bonus stays alive and your vehicle is covered for Third Party / Fire & Theft and Accidental Damage.
If you need to drive your vehicle, for whatever reason, then you should not cancel your insurance and/or cancel your Direct Debit, Without speaking to us first, because if you are stopped by Gardai, then you are not covered and you will be prosecuted for driving with No Insurance.
HOME TIPS
In these very difficult times, the last thing you want to happen, is to have an accident or fire, in your home.
However, Mother Nature works in mysterious ways and we are actually more prone to accidents right now,
as we are all spending far more time in our homes daily. So please make sure you RENEW your home insurance.
Fires happen so easily, both Electrical, Cooking and Fuel.
The worst offenders are: Smartphone and Computer Power Leads, Un-vented Tumble Dryers, Chip Pans, Cigarettes and Open Fires.
Add to this; Wiring over 10 years old, that have not been tested, by a qualified electrician, and we are all vulnerable.

FINANCE / DIRECT DEBITS
If you find yourself in difficulty with repaying your direct debit, then DO NOT JUST CANCEL YOUR BANK’s INSTRUCTIONS, rather, Contact your insurer or ourselves and we will put you in touch, who are willing to suspend/amend payments to suit your needs. By cancelling your Bank Instructions, you may find yourself with a bad credit rating and difficulty getting re-insured at a later date
