Commercial & Personal Lines Administrator, Cork City

We are seeking a detail-oriented and customer-focused Commercial & Personal Lines  Administrator to join the Commercial team in South Mall. This dual-role position supports the  day-to-day administration of both commercial and personal lines insurance accounts for the  team. The successful candidate will work closely with account executives and clients to ensure  efficient, compliant, and accurate processing of insurance documentation, policy renewals,  quotes, and queries. 
Responsibilities 
  • Prepare and issue new business documents, mid-term alterations, renewals, and  cancellations for both commercial and personal lines. 
  • Liaise with insurers and underwriters to obtain quotes, confirm cover, and resolve  queries. 
  • Support clients by providing clear information about policy terms, coverage, and  documentation requirements. 
  • Escalate complex queries or claims to the appropriate account executive or manager. Assist with preparing personal and commercial insurance quotes, comparing cover and premiums. 
  • Monitor renewal lists/age debt/offered/pending reports for executives General administrative duties. 
  • Comply with CBI, CICA, GDPR regulations as well as internal policies and  procedures. 

The Ideal Candidate 
  • At least 2 years’ experience in similar role. 
  • Hold a commercial insurance qualification. 
  • Have a high level of accuracy and attention to detail. 
  • Have excellent communication & relationship building skills. 
  • Have proven ability to deal with problems and solve them effectively and efficiently. Have good product & market knowledge.
