McCarthy Insurance Group has been announced as the title sponsor of the Cork County Football Leagues and Football Championships as part of a three-year sponsorship agreement.
Taking place annually, the Cork County Football Leagues and Football Championships are at the heart of the Cork sporting calendar and see clubs from across the county competing at various levels. Both competitions will now be known as the McCarthy Insurance Group Football Leagues and the McCarthy Insurance Group Cork Football Championships.
Speaking from the launch at Páirc Uí Chaoimh, CEO of McCarthy Insurance Group, Brendan Harrington said: “We at McCarthy Insurance Group are thrilled to support Cork football at all levels throughout the county. McCarthy Insurance Group looks forward to the next three years and showcasing our continued commitment to Cork communities as we celebrate our games throughout the leagues and championships.”
Cork GAA County Chairperson, Pat Horgan, said: “We are delighted that McCarthy Insurance Group is joining us as the title sponsor of our football club leagues and championships. It is fitting that two such strong Cork brands are coming together in this new partnership, especially this year as the support for Cork football is growing throughout the city and county.

The McCarthy Insurance Group County Leagues will commence in March, while the McCarthy Insurance Group Cork Football Championships kicks off in the Summer.
